I graduated from J. W. Nixon High school in 1988. I attended Laredo Community College and Texas A&M International University in Laredo Texas. I am currently enrolled at Southeast Oklahoma State University studying for my masters in challenging behaviors. 

I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in education. My Certifications are Special Education EC-12, Bilingual Certification, and Core Curriculum EC-6^th grade.

As a district employee, I have attended over 60 hours of yearly training in all areas certified to keep up with new contents and laws that may apply in my classroom and students.
