The mission of the CMS Library is to be a dynamic and inclusive center of the learning community, providing a safe and supportive environment for all students.
We empower students by providing engaging resources, fostering a love of reading, and offering individual guidance and collaborative experiences. Through instruction in information literacy, digital citizenship, and critical thinking, we challenge students to achieve academic excellence, cultivate strong character, and develop the essential skills to thrive in our rapidly changing world.

Our district boasts the highest percentage of parent volunteers in the state.

We're the only district in the country with a dedicated "Squirrel Crossing Guard" at Oakwood Elementary.

Our district's first schoolhouse was built in 1852 and is now a beloved local landmark.

We have a 99%+ graduation rate - a testament to our dedicated teachers and motivated students.
