     Welcome, Huskies! I’m Ms. Arce, your 7^th grade ELAR teacher for the 2021 – 2022 school year. There is no doubt this will be a unique year as we embark on a journey taking our learning online and for some of us into the classroom. By now, we are all aware of the ongoing pandemic making our return to school a challenge; however, your health is my utmost priority. Therefore taking safety precautions, whether we are in class or at home, will be incorporated into our daily procedures as I teach you to become better writers. Regardless of the situation we are facing, the state is still mandating you to take the STAAR Writing Exam at the end of the year.

     I know it may not be easy. I know it may take lots of work.  But I also know that together we can do it. I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you. And I wish us all a successful school year.
