Prior to teaching, I spent 12 years in the Army and taught a wide variety of classes to soldiers worldwide in addition to my normal duties as an Intelligence Officer. 

I’ve been married since 1987.  We have one son, who is an architect in Houston. We currently have 2 Goldendoodles (Betsy Ross & GL Bernini), and 1 Schnoodle (Chase).

   When not at school, I enjoy most crafts including knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, sewing, and most other crafts.  I also can a wide variety of foods, bake, cook, read, and am an NCAA and USA Track and Field Referee. These are some of my hobbies.  My husband and I frequently go to the movies and travel to see our son.  My husband spent 21 years in the Army and another 23 as a retail manager.  He is now retired and always my rock.  We met in the military and were married in 1987.
